SAS software is so vast in function and dimension that most users have a high-level knowledge on one or more SAS products. Take this opportunity to showcase your expertise and share it with other SAS professionals at MWSUG 2026 via a paper presentation or e-Poster!

Below is some of the essential information to guide you as you create your abstract, prepare your paper and presentation or e-poster. Before submitting an abstract, please review the information below carefully. Paper proposals are due July 15.

Submission Basics

To submit your abstract, visit the MWSUG Content Submission System.

Your proposed presentation will need to include a title of no more than 250 characters and a summary (abstract) of no more than 250 words. You will also be asked to provide the name of each author along with each author's affiliation (company, etc.), email address, and a short biography of no more than 75 words. Biographies should be written in the third person.

Presentation Options and Sections

There are multiple ways to present: 90- or 75-minute Hands-on workshop, 60-minute live demos, 50-minute presentation, 20-minute presentation, 10-minute ‘lightning round’ presentations and e-Posters. There will be many concurrent sections or presentation tracks at the conference.

Paper Requirements

Written papers are required this year, although it’s dependent on the section and other factors. Papers are not required for two sections; Hands-On Workshops and Live Demos, & E-posters. For all other sections, papers are required. Additionally, papers are not required for 50-minute presentations. Lastly, if your circumstances prevent you from writing a paper because of family emergency or other unforeseen issue outside of your control, the academic chair might extend the paper deadline. If this is the case, please let your section chair or the academic chair know.
