Volunteer to help at MWSUG 2009
The MWSUG XX conference is a premier SASŪ educational forum in the region and is presented by volunteers. It takes many volunteers to pull off a successful conference. Volunteering is also a great way to network and become more active in the community of SASŪ users.
We are in need of volunteers as Session Coordinators and at the Registration desk. The Session Coordinators will assist the Section Chairs during the presentations of the papers in their section. The Session Coordinators will be expected to do the following (but not limited to): keep time for the speakers, adjust lighting & AV equipment, distribute and/or collect hand-outs. Volunteers at the registration desk will assist the Registrar to make sure everyone is properly registered with the proper ID and obtains all of the conference information in their registration package.
We are planning a special volunteer recognition to thank our volunteers for their help.
