MWSUG 2010 Paper Submission

MWSUG would like to thank all authors/presenters who have contributed to the 2010 MWSUG program. We are very grateful for your contributions! Below are some resources and important dates and deliverables to remember with regard to your paper and presentation.

Presenter Obligations

If the proposed paper/poster is accepted for presentation at MWSUG 2010, the author(s) agree to:

  1. Submit the Copyright Grant Form signed by all authors on or before June 22, 2010;
  2. Submit a final paper in PDF format consistent with MWSUG Presenter Guidelines on or before August 9, 2010; and
  3. Register for the conference on or before the early registration deadline of September 3, 2010. Registration opens on July 1, 2010.

If any of the above terms and conditions is not met, MWSUG will remove the presentation from the Conference Schedule and will exclude the paper from the Conference Proceedings.

Copyright Grant Form June 22 The Copyright Grant Form must be printed and signed by ALL authors of each paper and submitted. Authors can send their signed Copyright Grant Forms in one of three ways:

Papers Due August 9 The final PDF version of each paper must be consistent with MWSUG Presenter Guidelines, named with your paper code, and uploaded at the MWSUG paper submission web site. Earlier submissions are welcomed, encouraged, and appreciated by the Section Chairs. The Section Chairs and Proceedings Coordinator will review the paper and provide any necessary feedback to each presenter. Any revisions will be required on a timely basis.

Early Registration Ends September 3 Early discount ends. All presenters must be registered by this date.
Draft of Presentations (PPT) files loaded Up to your Section Chair Whether you must submit a draft version of your presentation slides in advance of the conference is at the discretion of your Section Chair. Contact your Section Chairs for details specific to your section. Slide file format must be PPT, NOT PPTX (i.e., NOT PowerPoint 2007).

Hands-On Workshop Due August 30 Hands-On Workshops ONLY: All presenter files, program code, software requests due.
