Application Development
This section will cover advanced uses of SAS in solving business and academic needs. Dealing with how to maintain a system and writing applications either in SAS or in other languages that interact with SAS to solve real world problems.

Statistics and Data Analysis
Papers in this area deal in the use of statistics and how to use SAS to model and analyze data. Both novel and novice approaches will be presented.

Pharmaceutical and Healthcare
Topics for this section include the application of SAS in the pharmaceutical industry, health care outcomes research, and epidemiology. Areas of focus include the handling of both clinical and nonclinical data in the drug development process as well as in the operations environment thru the analysis and reporting. Special consideration will be given to e-submission and data standards such as CDISC topics.

Data Mining and Warehousing
This section will delve into the mysteries of Data Mining and how SAS can simplify analysis of large data. Taking the tools of SAS to learn more about data and, in the process, solve more problems with less effort.

Tutorials
Papers in this section focus on how to use and get the most out of SAS. Both beginning and advanced topics will be presented, along with explanations and code excerpts to help participants walk out and apply what they have learned.

Coders Corner
This section involves short, 10 minute presentations on a specific solution and the code used to solve it. It is a unique forum that provides programmers the opportunity to showcase their code without going into lots of details and slides.

Hands On Workshops
This is both presentation and a course. The presenters in this section are mostly invited speakers. Topics presented provide the opportunity for participants to practice the materials using computers that are provided for them.
